Up to 100 kN, the sensors and pseudo-sensors designed by LESCATE are calibrated in-house. We operate a 10t electromechanical press with a COFRAC-accredited reference load cell, covering all types of loading: tension, compression, bending and shear. Torsion calibration is performed on a dedicated rig. For smaller measurement ranges, dead-weight calibration can also be carried out.
Every calibration is prepared together with the client so that the setup is representative of the sensor's real operating conditions. This generally involves using or reproducing the system's own parts and setting up purpose-designed interfaces. The calibration procedure follows standard industry practice but can be tailored to specific requirements.
The ISO 9001 quality system sets the rules governing traceability. Press calibration programs are archived and every component of the setup is identified. This makes it possible to reproduce the calibration under the same conditions years later, or periodically as part of an annual verification, for example. Calibration repeatability is thereby guaranteed. LESCATE is also able to configure signal conditioners with 0–10 V or 4–20 mA outputs, enabling automated integration of your sensors into your production lines.
